Paper Stock Types

Glossy paper is designed to make printed photos look sharp, vibrant and more like a traditional photograph. Glossy paper allows little ink coverage. It is commonly used in magazines. This stock is also excellent for posters and photo reproductions.

Satin paper has a low-glossy surface and is good to write on. This stock has a nice color resolution and is commonly used for posters and photo reproductions.

Matte paper has a dull surface, which allows no shine and gloss. The stock offers great ink-holdout and vibrant color pictures. It is widely used for photographic reproductions and posters.

Backlit is a clear polyester film with an ink jet receptive coating on one side and a cling adhesive reverse side. Backlit is ideal for indoor and window promotion.

Sticker is a type of stock with a picture, color, or writing on one side and a sticky surface on the other that can be stuck to something.

Scrim Vinyl is woven opaque cloth with nice image quality and sturdiness. Scrim Vinyl is water-resistant and fade-resistant and is used for outdoor and indoor applications.

Canvas is a strong, heavy cloth, designed for indoor art and photographic reproductions.

100 lb. Text Gloss is a standard quality paper stock finished with glossy two-sided coating. This stock is thicker than the average magazine paper.
